In this paint and sip workshop we are offering 5 patriotic designs from which you can pick one to paint at the event. If you would like to purchase more than one you just need to add one design option to your cart at a time. All 5 options are cut from 1/4″ basswood and are 8″ at their longest side. You can add ribbon or twine to the top to hang the finished design or you can add a metal disc to the back so it will attach to the candlestick display stand we offer in White, Ivory, Unpainted or Stained.
Option 1: Floral USA – this design features 3 flowers (Red, White, Blue) in a flower box with USA written on the front. You can personalize the flower box to go with the colors in your home decor.
Option 2: Patriotic Birdhouse – this design is a birdhouse painted red with a blue roof & base and features a flag and two firecrackers.
Option 3: Patriotic Butterfly – this design features patriotic wings. The wings are red and white stripes on the top half and blue with white stars on the bottom half.
Option 4: Patriotic Quilt – this patriotic quilt design features a deep blue top half with stars and red and white stripes on the bottom. There is a red, white and blue quilters square in the middle.
Option 5: USA Sunflower Jars – this design features sunflowers in a trio of patriotic jars. The jars celebrate the USA with one being blue with white stars and the other two have red and white stripes.
During the class, you’ll be guided step-by-step as you paint your chosen patriotic wood cutout. We will provide the metal disc to use with the candlestick display stand or if you would rather hang your wood cut out we will have some ribbon or twine for you to use.
Most people are able to paint one design during the workshop. However, if you can’t decide between two designs or if you want to purchase one for a friend you can purchase more than one. We’ll provide containers to take some of the paints home with you for the second project.
Guest new to these workshops can also purchase the 11” wood candlestick stand either pre-painted/stained or unpainted.
No experience is necessary – just bring your creativity and enjoy the process! Invite your friends and have a fun night out! All supplies are included. Stout’s Growlers will offer a variety of drinks and snacks for purchase.
Cancellation Policy: Please make every effort to attend the workshop you are registered for. If you cannot attend a workshop you must email michelle@sittingtreecreations.com two full days prior to the scheduled workshop. If you fail to comply with the above statement no credit will be issued. The following options are available if you do have to cancel:
- A credit towards another workshop
- Must reschedule for another workshop within 3 months
- Send someone in your place
